Phillippa Lucini is eldest child of Carly and Ben Lucini. She was born in 1992 in Perth, and raised on an army base.
Carly and Ben were still living in Summer Bay when they found out they were expecting their first child. Their marriage was in difficulty at the time, largely because of Ben's struggles to deal with life outside the army. After Ben secretly re-enlisted in the army behind Carly's back, the pair split up. It looked like Carly would be left to raise their child single-handedly in Summer Bay. Happily, at the wedding of Carly's foster mum Pippa to Michael Ross, the Lucinis patched things up. They moved to Perth which is where Philippa was born and raised. It's likely that Carly and Ben named their daughter after Pippa.
