Synopsis
Sam Barlow finally flips his lid, with tragic consequences. Beforehand, Steven Matheson wonders why Sandra just wrote a letter instead of seeing him before she left so goes round to find if she has left Summer Bay. Sandra Barlow rushes to alert Bob Barnett that her father has yet again been violent to Kerry Barlow. Bob rushes round and barges into the Barlow household. Him and Sam wrestle and Sam grabs Barnett's police gun. Barnett tries to negotiate with him saying if he shoots him he will be in jail for 30 years. Sandra alerts Ailsa Hogan and they arrive. Barlow points the gun at his daughter and Ailsa. Barnett tries to disarm him and they scuffle. A gunshot rings out.
