Synopsis[]
At Summer Bay House, Carly gets ready to leave Summer Bay with Matt. The Fletchers wave her off. Carly says she will keep in touch and will see them at Christmas anyway. Stacey says that Philip made her fall in love with him. She says if he wants to go, then he should just go. David and Roo meet fellow doctor Phil on the beach, but he is dismissive and says he is leaving the bay later and wants to spend his last day surfing. Roo worries that David is yet again the subject of racism due to being Asian. Miss Molloy speaks to Frank and Bobby about their wedding, and she will try and get their parents to attend. Sally is missing Carly. Don calls round, asking for Carly. They say she left 3 hours ago. Don had a farewell book for Carly - George Orwell's Down And Out in Paris and London. Pippa invites Don for a coffee. Tom is not pleased, due to his rivalry with Don. David still feels he does not fit into the bay due to his Oriental heritage. Don is invited to the Fletchers for Christmas. Don worries that in the new year he will have to teach a new brood of foster children but that Miss Molloy came to see Bobby and Frank. Tom and Pippa discuss taking on more foster children. Roo worries that David will leave. Miss Molloy says that Bobby may be in for a lot of heartache, as her past is not what she thinks it is, not by a long shot.
