Synopsis[]
Philip has decided to leave Summer Bay after the toss of his coin. Alf is uneasy about David Lee being Chinese. Bobby worries about being a boring housewife to Frank. She will not be another Kerry Barlow. Celia is surprised to see Roo with a Chinese boyfriend, and falls off her bike. Celia worries about prejudice. Frank tells Bobby how much he loves her. Stacey listens to a song written by Lance. Stacey plans a great Christmas. At Alf's house, David, Roo, Alf, Ailsa and Celia have a dinner. They discuss religion. Phil breaks the news to Stacey that he is going back to the city. She does not take the news very well, and walks off. Bobby says to Frank that she is going to uni, and will be there during the week. He is not happy. She argues with Frank about him wanting things his way. She does not want to be a housewife. She wants to marry him but will still be able to come up to Summer Bay at weekends. They continue to argue and she gets ready to take her engagement ring off.
