Synopsis[]
Tom Fletcher is surprised to find he is going to be a daddy. Tom tells Pippa Fletcher that he is pleased he did not heed the doctors advice about a vasectomy. Alf Stewart lets Frank Morgan go home early from The Bait Shop. Frank is anxious about telling Alf that he is seeing his daughter, Roo Stewart. Floss McPhee tells Neville McPhee that Pippa is pregnant, but she says she knows that due to her heart, giving birth could kill her. Tom thinks she should have an abortion. He says he wants the baby as much as she. Pippa suggests they take a chance. The Fletcher's hold a family meeting to tell them that she is pregnant. Sally Fletcher is not best pleased, and she runs off. She worries that she will have to go to another foster home due to the 6 child rule. Pippa reassures her that she can stay. Someone has done a job on Neville's bagpipes. Lynn Davenport says to Donald Fisher that Pippa is pregnant. She pleads with him not to expel her for Pippa's sake. He says he will consider. Don will still make her stand up in assembly and apologise to the whole school. He says he is still within his rights to have her expelled to set and example to the others. The next morning, Frank turns up for work, and is met by an angry Alf. "Just the bloke I want to see", Alf says.
