Synopsis[]
Sally has to come to terms with some changes
At the diner, Adam asks Pippa to make a quiche for him. While she's there, Ailsa takes the opportunity to tell Pippa about what happened with Bobby and Sam. They discuss foster parents getting attached to the kids and Pippa reminds Ailsa about Emma. She has now left but it was good that she and Alf were there at a time in her life when she needed them.
Pippa pays Bobby a visit and they talk the situation over. Bobby things she is a terrible foster mum because she got so attached to Sam despite what everybody said. She doesn't want to ever foster again but Pippa urges her to reconsider.
Sally comes into the diner and is very down. This is noticed by Sophie. It turns out that some boys outside had been making fun of her because she now needs a bra. Adam isn't impressed by their behaviour either. Sally goes home and straight up to her room. After finding out from Sophie what the issue is, Pippa goes upstairs to have a chat. She offers to go bra shopping with Sally. Michael reminds Pippa that it isn't just girls who have a hard time at that age. Haydn won't ever forget the teasing he got after his first shave. It isn't fun when their voices are breaking either.
Blake goes in search of Karen and finds her in Revhead's house. She is feeling sick after having had her first joint. He takes her home and encourages her to drink some coffee to clear her head. They also argue about her wanting to hang out with Revhead. Later, he asks Sophie to have a word with Karen. Maybe she might be more willing to listen to her friend than to her brother. Sophie's conversation with Karen goes no better than the one Blake had with her.
Pippa asks Michael to leave some clean laundry into the girls' room upstairs. He walks straight into the room, disturbing Sally who is about to change her t-shirt. Both Sally and Michael are mortified about it. Pippa goes upstairs to talk to Sally She tells Pippa she never wants to see Michael again. Still, she comes down to dinner and Michael apologises to her. Just when it looks like the matter has been put to bed, Adam calls around for his quiche and tells Sally that if those boys crack bra jokes again he will sort them out for her. Sally flees the room.
Revhead rings the Stewart's house and Karen arranges to meet him. She tells Blake, who had answered the phone, that she is going to see him no matter what.
