Belinda Emmett
Belinda Emmett (12 April, 1974 - 11 November, 2006)[1] was the third actress to play Rebecca Nash (née Fisher).[2] She appeared on Home and Away between 1996-1999. In 1998, aged just 24, she took time off from the show to undergo treatment for breast cancer.
Pre Home And Away career[]
Belinda was born in Gosford NSW and grew up in Umina Beach. She first came to public attention playing Tracy Russell on Hey Dad! in 1994.

She joined the cast of Home and Away in 1996 as Rebecca Fisher, daughter of Donald. During her time on the show, she was nominated twice for a Silver Logie for Most Popular Actress (1998 & 1999). She received a Gold Logie nomination in 1999.
After Home And Away[]
After leaving Home and Away in 1999, Belinda made 9 appearances on All Saints. She also appeared in The Nugget, a movie starring Eric Bana (he had turned down the Vin Diesel lead role in xXx to do this...) Sadly, while making The Nugget she learned that her cancer had returned. She died on 11th November 2006 in St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney, aged just 32. She was survived by her husband Rove McManus.
