Aaron Walsh

Aaron Walsh was a minor character in 2016. He was the father of Jordan Walsh who had been taken in by John Palmer and Marilyn Chambers. He was played by Justin Smith.

Backstory

Aaron Walsh was a single parent and had initially raised Jordan in Darwin. They then moved to the city but things went downhill. Aaron lost his job and then his home. He and Jordan lived in his car for a time but then that was stolen. Father and son were then forced into living on the streets. Aaron was caught stealing and sent to jail. Jordan was left to fend for himself and eventually was taken in by John and Marilyn.

2016

Aaron was released from prison and the next day, he came to Summer Bay in search of Jordan. By coincidence it was Jordan's 16th birthday. Aaron asked Jordan to come back to live with him but his son was wary. A lifetime of cleaning up his father's messes he was understandably shot shy. Especially when it became evident that Aaron was still making things up as he went along. Things weren't helped when Aaron burgled the Palmers while they were away. Jordan immediately knew what was going on and had some choice words for his father. This shocked Aaron, along with Jordan telling him he'd rather stay with the Palmers. He approached his case worker and took steps towards getting a job and a new place. When Jordan learned of this he decided that it was time to move back in with his father. He also felt that his presence might help keep him on the straight and narrow. Father and son left town together.
